This is the part where I can talk about myself!
As you already know my name is Bennett. I was born and raised in Mississauga, and for the last 8 or so years I've lived in Barrie. I graduated high-school in 2020, but because of Covid-19 I took a few years off from studies. As of 2023 I'm enrolled in the Lakehead-Georgian HBSc Computer Science program and expect to graduate in 2027. I'm a motivated, results-driven student with super high standards for the work I put out. I feel my best when I'm doing my best, with a clear goal, and I never like to half-ass it! As a result of this, I graduated high-school achieving honour roll in all four years, and even made the Dean's list the first year of my post-secondary program. I'm on track to make the Dean's list this year too considering my performance in the first semester. I enjoy intertwining my creative/artistic side into programming, which I feel gives me an edge, especially at problem solving. A nice byproduct is also a real knack for front-end development, which is why I've chosen to showcase my web-design and JavaFX projects. Although I feel my strength is front-end I've developed a love for any and all programming during my studies and believe I could excel in any developer role. I'm excited to see what my future holds, and hope to make it big as a programmer!
